Day 1
Pick up at Padang airport drive to Kersik Tuo Kerinci  about 7 hours  Drive through the hill mainly through forest and village occasional stop for birding around Danau Krinci and around swamps/ Padi, Stay at Kersik Tuo Subandi Home Stay or Smiliar.

 

Day 2-3 
Full day Birding at Gunung Kerinci National Park

Key Species : Sumatran Frogmouth, Schneider’s Pitta, Salvadori’s Pheasant, Red billed Partridge, Bronze-tailed Peacock Pheasant., Sumatran Whistling Thrush, Golden and Rusty-breasted Wren-Babbler, Sumatran Wren-Babbler,, Rajah Scops Owl, Sumatran Cochoa, Sumatran Blue Robin, Sumatran Shortwing, Sumatran Trogon and Black Eagle, Gray-Chinned minivet, Sunda Minivet, White Throated fantail, Long Tailed shrike, Large Niltava, Shiny Whistling_Trush, Black-Browed Barbet, Sunda Owlet,
Sumatran Ground Cuckoo lives in Danau Kaco.
Sumatran Treepie, Black-browed Barbet, and Ruby-throated Bulbul. Green-billed Malkoha, Wreathed and Rhinoceros Hornbills, Blue Nuthatch, Banded Kingfisher

 

Day 4
Birding to  Danau Kaco main target for Sumatran Ground Cuckoo and drive to Sungai Penuh Stay at DVania Hotel in Town of Sungai Penuh or Smiliar

Sungai Penuh Drive to Tapan Road full day birding along the along the Tapan Road.

Tapan Road Key Species: Graceful Pitta, Barred Cuckoo-Doves,Temminck’s Sunbird, Sumatran Green Pigeon, Sumatran Flowerpecker, Cinereous Bulbul, Wreathed Hornbill, Red-headed Trogon, Orange-bellied Flowerpecker, Blue masked leafbirds, Sumatran Leafbird, Spectacled Bulbul, Hairy-backed Bulbul, Red-bearded Bee-eater, Oriental Honey Buzzard (which is often treated as Sunda Honey Buzzard) Spot-necked Babblers , Sumatran Bulbul, Long tailed broadbill, Black and crimson oriole and fire tufted barbet, Sumatran treepie, Marbled wren babbler.

 

Day 6
Early morning birding Tapan Road and Drive to Padang About 6 hours drive Arrival at Padang Hotel / Airport end trip.

About Kerinci Seblat National Park

Kerinci Seblat National Park is located along the Barisan mountain range in western Sumatra and includes Mount Kerinci, the island’s highest peak (3,805 m). This montane park features active volcanoes, hot springs, rivers, caves, waterfalls, and Lake Gunung Tujuh, the highest caldera lake in Southeast Asia. The Great Sumatran fault runs through the park, attracting geologists, while the park surrounds the populated Kerinci Valley.
The park boasts incredible biodiversity with over 4,000 plant species, including the iconic Rafflesia arnoldii and titan arum. Its wildlife includes several rare and endangered animals like Sumatran Tiger:
